DIY Wedding Favors

Wedding favors are a nice keepsake for your guests and a great way to remember your special day. There are so many items that can be used as a favor. Some practical personalized favor ideas are matches, small notepads, bottle openers and key rings. These are a great way for your guests to be reminded of your event each time they use the item.

There are plenty of inexpensive do-it-yourself ideas for favors, too. You can make your guests a CD of your favorite songs, personalized with your photo as the cover. Having a barbeque-themed wedding? Make a batch of your favorite steak seasoning or rub and put it in containers for each guest. Do you have a sweet tooth? Grab a few bags of your favorite candies and put them in small boxes or bags.

Having a hard time deciding what all of your guests would enjoy? If there is a charity you hold near and dear to your heart, make a one or two-dollar donation to the charity in the name of each guest. On each table leave a small note card explaining what you’ve done in lieu of favors. Your guests will appreciate that you’ve donated to a great cause.

All of these are great ways to thank your guests for sharing in your special day!
